Château Corton Grancey Grand Cru
Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
Pinot Noir | 750ml | Grand Cru
A benchmark Grand Cru from Maison Louis Latour, the Château Corton Grancey Grand Cru is a masterful expression of the Corton hillside. Produced from 40-year-old Pinot Noir vines rooted in marl and limestone soils, this wine offers both depth and elegance.
Grapes are hand-picked, fermented in traditional open vats, and aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, with 35% new oak, medium toasted by the Louis Latour cooperage. Expect ripe red fruit, savory spice, and earthy complexity.

Heritage
"Grancey" was the name of the last owners of the Château situated on the road of Corton before the Latour family bought it in 1891. This wine, produced by Maison Louis Latour, is unique and exclusive.
It is a blend of five areas of Domaine Latour Corton Grand Cru: Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes, the proportions of which vary depending on the vintage. The average age of the vines is over 40 years. After aging individually, only the best barrels are meticulously selected to create the Château Corton Grancey. It is a wine produced only if the grapes are of perfect maturity; vintages judged inferior are systematically declassified.
