Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru "Clos Poirier"
Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
Chardonnay | 750ml | Grand Cru
The Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru “Clos Poirier” from Maison Louis Latour is a rare and exceptional white Burgundy, sourced from one of the most prestigious plots within the famed Bâtard-Montrachet appellation. From old Chardonnay vines rooted in deep limestone and marl soils, this wine exemplifies power, precision, and elegance.
Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed before fermentation in oak barrels. The wine is aged for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new and medium toasted by the Louis Latour cooperage. Rich and layered, it offers notes of ripe orchard fruit, toasted hazelnut, and subtle minerality, with a long, opulent finish.
