Meursault 1er Cru "Château de Blagny"
Côte de Beaune, Burgundy
Chardonnay | 750ml | Premier Cru
An exclusive monopole of Maison Louis Latour, the Meursault Premier Cru “Château de Blagny” hails from vineyards perched high on the hillside overlooking Meursault and Puligny‑Montrachet. The vines, averaging 30 years of age, are rooted in stony marl and Jurassic limestone, producing a wine of clear expression and finesse.
Following hand‑harvest, fermentation takes place traditionally in French oak barrels, with complete malolactic conversion. The wine matures for 8–10 months in oak, about 35% of which is new from the Louis Latour cooperage (medium toast).
