Echézeaux Grand Cru
Côte de Nuits, Burgundy
Pinot Noir | 750ml | Grand Cru
From the prestigious Echezeaux Grand Cru vineyard in Vosne-Romanée, this Pinot Noir from Maison Louis Latour is a refined expression of one of Burgundy’s most storied appellations. The wine is crafted from vines averaging 40 years old, planted in well-drained clay and limestone soils that contribute to its aromatic complexity and silky texture.
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in traditional open vats and then aged for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new and medium toasted by the Louis Latour cooperage. Expect layers of ripe cherry, rose petal, and subtle spice with a lingering, elegant finish.

Description
This is a superb vineyard situated above Clos Vougeot, between Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot in the Côte de Nuits. It belongs to the era of the Cîteaux Abbey. Echézeaux offers quite diverse and complex soils depending on each climate, all with an easterly exposure. Echézeaux is an exquisite red wine that is robust, solid, and completely harmonious. It is always a great wine to age.
